NotifyVisitors' Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP) empowers you to connect your own data lake with the platform and unlock its potential for personalized marketing and analytics, without needing to migrate or duplicate your data infrastructure.
With Composable CDP, you can securely connect external databases, model your data, segment your audiences, and analyze behaviors, all within one unified workflow.
This article introduces the four key building blocks of NotifyVisitors’ Composable CDP:
1. Data connector – sources
It starts with Data Connector, where you can securely connect your structured external data sources to NotifyVisitors.
You can configure connection settings (direct, VPN, or SSH), validate the connection in real-time, and once verified, the source becomes available for downstream tasks like modeling and segmentation.

2. Data connector – models
Once your source is connected, use the Models feature to map the data into a usable structure. A model represents a table in your source database, either as a User model (e.g., profiles, demographics) or an Event model (e.g., purchases, logins, page views).
You can define primary identifiers and map table columns to NotifyVisitors attributes. These models form the foundation for segmentation and analytics.

3. Creating segments from models
Using your models, you can build Query-Based Segments that filter users based on their demographics or events (user behavior/activity) stored in your connected source. Whether you want to target active users, dormant subscribers, or recent buyers, model-based segmentation gives you total control.
You can combine multiple models, define complex rules, and even enable Precomputed option to keep audiences automatically updated as your source data changes.
Once created, these segments can be used to send targeted omnichannel campaigns via channels such as Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, and more.

4. Analyze models
Finally, dive into your data using the Analyze Models feature. It provides visual insights based on the user or event models you’ve created, helping you understand trends, behaviors, and performance metrics over time.
You can:
- Track key metrics like sign-ups, purchases, or churn
- Analyze data based on total events, unique users, or aggregate properties (sum, average, etc.)
- Slice data by custom attributes (e.g., region, device, plan type)
Why use NotifyVisitors’ composable CDP?
- No data migration needed: Connect your own data lake without moving or duplicating data
- Complete flexibility: Structure and analyze your data your way
- Personalization: Create segments based on users' past behavior and launch highly targeted campaigns
