a. Opt-In keywords
NotifyVisitors offers two keywords for opting in: ‘Start’ and ‘Subscribe’. Users who reply with either of these keywords will be automatically subscribed to receive WhatsApp messages.
b. Customize opt-In messages
You can set up automated replies for opt-in events.
- Click on the ‘Opt-in Message’ dropdown and click on text message.
- Now, enter your desired response in the text box and click on save.
- Alternatively, you can choose the template option. Choose a suitable pre-created template from the drop down for the purpose of sending an opt in message. Later click on save option.
For example, you can configure an automated reply such as ‘Thank you for opting in to receive updates via WhatsApp’.

- You can create an automated opt-out message reply just as similar to the process of opt-in message.
- Alternatively, you can select the template option, create a new one or choose a suitable template from the drop down for the purpose of sending an opt out message. Now, click on save option.
For example an opt-out message could be ‘You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe’.
Fallback messages
